Our top-ranked Sports Group acts for international and national sports governing bodies, event organisers, stadium operators, clubs, broadcasters, sponsors, agencies, brands and investors, as well as individual athletes.

We operate a multi-disciplinary international sports practice comprising specialists in the exploitation of commercial rights, brand management, event organisation, regulatory and disciplinary issues, and dispute resolution, many of whom are acknowledged leaders in their field.

We are also able to draw on advice and support in corporate, competition, tax, employment, immigration, data protection and other areas of law, all involving lawyers who are experienced in the particular requirements of the sports sector.

Our work is incredibly varied and includes event sponsorship,  the exploitation of media and marketing rights, anti-ambush marketing, anti-ticket touting, anti-corruption, the drafting of rules and regulations, disciplinary and anti-doping proceedings, bringing and defending challenges to the decision of governing bodies, dispute resolution, club takeovers and player transfers.
