Afra joined Bird & Bird’s Milan office in November 2007 as a member of the firm's Corporate Group. She had previously worked at Studio Legale Tributario – Ernst and Young Associates in Milan from 2004.
 
Afra is fully experienced in the field of negotiation and commercial agreements. She has a particular focus on corporate law, M&A and restructuring projects.
 
Afra graduated with honors from the Università degli Studi in Milan in 2003 and was admitted to the Milan Bar in 2007. Her thesis regarded Negotiating Contracts: Strategies and Techniques for win-win solutions. 
 
After completing a stage in Paris, in 2004 she completed the Negotiation Certificate Program at M.I.T. and was certified several diplomas on Financial Accounting, Managing Workplace Performance and Effective Written Communication at Harvard in the US.
 
Afra speaks Italian and English and is also fluent in French.
