Lorraine is highly regarded as a leading intellectual property practitioner with experience in international and cross-border issues.

Lorraine is a partner in the Intellectual Property & Technology practice group of ATMD Bird & Bird in Singapore.
Lorraine focuses primarily on non-contentious intellectual property (IP) and general IP advisory work. She has worked with numerous clients across various industries to manage and protect their portfolio of intellectual property rights which include trademarks, patents and design covering multiple jurisdictions worldwide. She also handles complex cross border IP issues and disputes including oppositions and negotiations.

She also manages commercial transactions involving IP issues (such as mergers and acquisitions, licensing, and the sale and purchase of intellectual property rights), and has experience in managing global due diligence and clearance exercises, negotiations and the drafting and preparation of related documentation. Aside from these areas, Lorraine also regularly advises clients on regulatory and advertising related issues.
Lorraine has more than 15 years of experience in intellectual property. Prior to joining us, Lorraine practiced at a well established international firm, where she headed the registration practice.

Lorraine actively participates on various Committees with the International Trade Marks Association (INTA) and currently serves on the Non Traditional Trade Marks Committee. She is consistently recognised as a leading IP lawyer by clients and top legal directories including The Legal 500, Chambers & Partners and World Trademark Review. She regularly presents on intellectual property issues at seminars and events. Lorraine is also a registered Singapore patent agent.
