Maisa is a partner based in our Helsinki office. She is the head of the Finnish employment practice group and the employee incentives and benefits group.

Maisa focuses on all aspects of employment relations and advises national and international companies on various employment law issues including transactions, employment contractual issues, the negotiation and termination of contracts, collective and trade union matters, co-operation procedures and discrimination. Maisa is also a member of the corporate practice group, where she specialises in outsourcing and privacy and data protection. She also has experience in litigation and has been recognised as an excellent lawyer for labour and employment law as well as outsourcing. (The Best Lawyers 2012).

Maisa has been acknowledged as one of the leading employment law practitioners in Finland in the most notable international directories (PLC Which Lawyer, Chambers and Partners and The Best Lawyers). Maisa is a frequent and well-known lecturer at conferences across Finland on the scope of employment law issues. She is also the co-author of the book “Solutions for working life challenges” published by J-Impact in 2012.

Maisa is a member of the Finnish Bar Association and also an active member of the Labour Law Association (EELA), the Finnish Association for Human Resource Management (HENRY), and the Finnish Franchising Association.
