Marc provides cutting edge strategic and regulatory advice to life sciences clients and represents them in litigation.
Marc is head of our Brussels regulatory, public and administrative law department and provides the full range of advice in these fields.
Specialising in life sciences, he provides strategic advice to Belgian and international pharmaceutical, biotech and medical devices companies as well as industry associations facing complex regulatory frameworks. His areas of expertise cover issues relating to life-cycle management, data exclusivity, marketing and reimbursement authorisations and clinical trials. He advises numerous biotech companies and deals with a wide range of issues regarding Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products as well as cells and tissues.
His expertise also covers a full range of public procurement, environmental law, REACH, RoHS, WEES and other Belgian and EU regulatory issues. He advises companies, public bodies and industry associations on related matters.
Marc speaks French, Dutch and English and holds a law degree from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he also worked four years as a research assistant, and a degree in public and administrative law from the University of Brussels.
Marc regularly publishes and speaks on life sciences regulatory topics and provides an introduction to Biotech Law at the University of Brussels. He is also member of the Board of the Belgian Biotech sector organisation BIO.BE.
