Philipp Maier was admitted to the Bar in 2012 and is a member of the Intellectual Property Group at the Munich office of Bird & Bird. He advises national and international clients in contentious and non-contentious matters of intellectual property law. His focus is on national and international trademark, design, copy right and unfair competition law.

Philipp studied law from 2003 to 2008 at the Universities of Potsdam and Munich with an emphasis on competition law, intellectual property law and media law. During his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich (Oberlandesgericht München), Philipp worked for the Munich office of another international law firm, the legal department of a media company and a law firm in London.
