Roman Brtka specialises in the field of intellectual property law and advises domestic and international clients in particular in the areas of trademark, competition and copyright law. He focuses on the judicial and extra-judicial enforcement of trademark rights and drafting and negotiating contracts.

Roman has been admitted to the Munich bar since 2010 and previously worked for the Munich office of Bird & Bird in various professional functions. In addition, since 2008 he is a qualified business mediator (CVM).

During his studies at the University of Passau and King’s College London, where he was awarded the “Diploma in Legal Studies”, he already set his main focus in all aspects of intellectual property law.

In the course of his professional work for Bird & Bird he was on a secondmentship with the legal department of a major German automobile manufacturer in the premium segment. In addition to classic trademark and competition law issues, he advised and supported in various projects in the fields of social media.
