Christopher is a member of the Intellectual Property and Competition Law Groups of Bird & Bird Germany. Christopher specialises in Patent and Utility Model Law. The main focus of his work is on German and international patent infringement proceedings for clients from the electronics, engineering, home appliances and life science sectors.

Christopher studied law at the University of Düsseldorf. During his legal training he worked for law firms in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Munich. He joined Bird & Bird in August 2006 and was admitted to the Düsseldorf Bar in March 2007.

During his studies he worked at the Computing Centre of the University of Düsseldorf, the German Diabetes Research Institute and as a freelance IT Advisor.

Christopher is a member of the German Intellectual Property and Copyright Association (GRUR) as well as the German Lawyer’s Association.
