Bahne Sievers has been an associate in the firm's Hamburg office since 2011. He is focused on advising media clients in all questions of copyright law, media law and content distribution.

Bahne Sievers studied law and musicology at University of Hamburg and London School of Economics and Political Science. For his thesis on copyright law and freedom of artistic expression he gained a doctorate from University of Hamburg.

Bahne Sievers is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright (GRUR). Before joining Bird & Bird he worked two years for Hogan Lovells.
