Hungarian journal Infokommunikáció és jog (Infocommunication and law) has published an articles by Péter Rippel-Szabó, a junior associate in our office in Budapest.

The article, titled: “Judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union in the Murphy-case and its potential ramifications on the sports broadcasting market”, covers the CJEU’s famous ruling in connection with the European rules on freedom to provide services, competition and copyright. The article also sets out the potential future changes in the market for exploiting sports broadcasting rights, which may result from the CJEU’s decision.
