A dedicated department for your development
Our specialist department organises legal, technical and business skills training and support for all our lawyers, including graduates. Our goal is to guide you, from trainee to partner.
Career paths you can follow with confidence
There are a myriad of learning and career development opportunities with us: from language training and key industry briefings, to contract drafting workshops and negotiation simulations. We also provide excellent opportunities for secondments to our other offices or to clients.
Bespoke seminars and coaching
We regularly hold legal seminars to highlight and discuss new and interesting legal developments, so you can be sure to be up-to-date with the latest in law.
But seminars are only part of the programme. We also provide individual coaching around personal interests and needs, sessions with in-house or external experts, and meetings with colleagues from our international network of offices and interest groups.
Not only the law
From day one as a trainee, we work with you to develop your business skills by means of a special Trainee Development Programme. The Programme focuses on all facets of professional life as a trainee, with workshops such as:
- how to get involved in marketing
- getting ahead with financial awareness
- working in legal teams
- operating in an international business.
We will brief you about all sectors of the firm and will support you through your compulsory Professional Skills Course.
Beyond training
We want each of our trainees to succeed with us. On completion of your Training Contract you will continue to be invited to interesting workshops to develop your business skills as a junior associate. And throughout your career there will always be plenty of legal seminars, external courses and other learning and development opportunities open to you.
