Alain is an eminent figure in key practice groups: mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and insolvency, and trade federations and lobbying associations.
Alain is a partner at our office in Brussels.
His main areas of expertise are mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and commercial agreements, offering a full scope of legal services, from advice to litigation.
He has also developed a practice centred on corporate restructuring and insolvency. He is often appointed as liquidator of companies. Alain also works closely on trade federations and lobbying associations. He is an associate member of the Federation of European and International Associations established in Belgium (FAIB).
Before joining us in 2000, Alain worked with Allen & Overy.
He holds a degree in law from the University of Louvain (UCL – 1992).
Alain was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 1993.
He speaks French, Dutch and English.
