Maciej is an energetic leader and an authority in information technology law with over two decades of expertise.
Maciej is the head of our Polish office and is also head of the Information Technology Group in Poland.
Maciej has extensive experience in information technology (IT) and outsourcing law. His other fields of expertise include banking and finance, commercial negotiation, corporate law, data protection as well as dispute resolution (litigation and arbitration), intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions and telecommunications.
Maciej advises clients from various industries, and represents them before the Polish Supreme Court, courts of law and administrative courts, Polish and international arbitration courts as well as providing help during negotiations.
Prior to joining us he was a partner in a major Polish law firm. Before that, he worked in a multidisciplinary practice which is member of the “Big Four”.
Maciej is an appointed legal expert to the Polish Chamber of Commerce since 2010, and deputy chairman of the Committee of Digitalisation of Poland of the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications since 2011. In 2011 Maciej co-wrote and edited the report of the Polish Bank Association: Cloud Computing in The Polish Financial Sector: Regulation and Standards.
Maciej studied law at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland, and at the Université de Tours in France. Prior to choosing law he specialised in mathematics and finished with honours a special “mathematical university” class in the V High School in Kraków.
