Emilia builds on her experience of working within the European Commission’s Industrial property unit to provide pragmatic, commercial advice to her clients.
Emilia is a senior associate who is the Head of our Privacy & Data Protection Practice and the Co-Head of our Intellectual Property practice based in Warsaw.
Since 2004, Emilia has been advising clients on matters relating to: privacy & data protection, intellectual property, e-commerce and new technologies, competition law, consumer protection law and corporate law.
She also works with clients on IP litigation and prosecution matters, in particular concerning trade marks and designs as well as counterfeited products and in patent disputes and pre-trail negotiations.
Emilia is an appointed legal expert to the Polish Chamber of Commerce and has written a number of publications on intellectual property law, data protection, competition and food law. She is a regular speaker at national and international conferences and seminars.
Emilia joined us from the European Commission, DG Internal Market and Services, Industrial Property Unit. Prior to this, Emilia worked for several Polish and international law firms in Warsaw and in a patent attorney’s office. She also lectured in intellectual property and privacy law at the SAR University under auspices of the SAR Marketing Communication Association between 2008 and 2010.
She is fluent in Polish and English.
