Beng Chai has been practising for the last 22 years. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets corporate and commercial matters, and corporate finance. He handles cross-border transactions involving Malaysian practice. He provides legal advice to Singapore companies and MNCs on Malaysian investments and acquisitions and assists to structure these investments. He has been consistently named as a leading individual in Corporate for Malaysia in The Asia Pacific Legal 500.
Beng Chai graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree of Bachelor of Laws (LLB (Hons)) in 1985.
He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor to the Singapore Bar in 1986 and as an Advocate and Solicitor to the Malaysian Bar in 1989.
He is a member of the International Trade & Investments Investors Committee of the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also a member of the GATS Committee of the Malaysian Bar.
