Alpha is an associate in the Intellectual Property group, based in the London office. She advises on contentious and transactional matters involving a broad range of intellectual property rights, with a particular emphasis on the life sciences sector.
Alpha is a graduate from Barnard College, Columbia University with a degree in Biology. She also holds a MSc in Molecular Biology from New York University and a MSc in Management of Intellectual Property from Queen Mary University, London. Before her career in law, Alpha wrote for a scientific publisher on pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent applications and competitive intelligence in the pharmaceutical industry.
Alpha regularly contributes to intellectual property sector journals and reference books, such as the Chartered Institute of Patent Agents Journal, European Intellectual Property Review, World Intellectual Property Report and the International IP Litigation reference guide. Alpha is a member of AIPPI, UK (the International Association for the Protection of Industrial Property).
