Carlo Quaranta joined Bird & Bird’s Milan office in October 2003. Before joining Bird & Bird Carlo completed an internship in the employment department of Abbatescianni e Associati law firm in Milan.

He graduated magna cum laude at the State University of Milan in 2000, with a degree thesis in employment law. Carlo was admitted to the bar in 2003.

Carlo deals with all employment issues involved in the day-to-day management of human resources (involving employees, agents and other self-employed contractors) as well as in labour relations.

Furthermore, Carlo has experience in employment litigation, in legal assistance in mass redundancy procedures and transfers of undertakings and in the handling of all issues concerning the processing of employees’ date and the monitoring of their activity. Carlo is co-author of the book “Privacy and employment relationship” and of several other publications concerning employment law.

He is a member of the Department of Employment and Labour Law of the State University of Milan, AGI (the Italian Employment Lawyers’ Association) and EELA (European Employment Lawyers Association).

Carlo is fluent in Italian and English.
