Christopher is a quick thinking, fast acting, creative IP lawyer and patent litigator.
Christopher is a Counsel in the Düsseldorf Office where he specialises in intellectual property law.
The main focus of his work is on technical protective rights such as patents and utility models. To date he has been involved in more than 150 patent infringement and validity proceedings for clients from the electronics, engineering, life science, chemicals and the appliances industry. His experience ranges from small scale actions to large multinational litigation involving dozens of patent families at a time. Christopher represents clients in German first and second instance courts in infringement actions and jointly with patent attorneys in validity proceedings. He is a member of our Electronics and Information Technology Sector Groups.
Prior to joining us in January 2007, Christopher worked at a University Computer Centre and as freelance IT Advisor. He completed his law studies in Düsseldorf and his traineeship in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Munich.
Christopher is a member of the German Intellectual Property and Copyright Association (GRUR), the Licensing Executives Society (LES) as well as the German Lawyer’s Association.
He publishes regularly in the field of patent litigation.
