Marcus Vass is a partner in and head of Bird & Bird's CMT Group in Hong Kong/China. He has been based in both Hong Kong and Beijing since 1999 and has lead landmark technology and communications focussed projects in several Asian jurisdictions, including Hong Kong and China.

Marcus has been elected to the Hong Kong Management Association (Telecom Users Group) which lobbies the government and the regulator on telecoms matters. He is also a member of the IT and Telecoms Committee of the Beijing EU Chamber of Commerce.

The CMT Group in HK/China is believed to be the largest sector-focussed commercial group in these jurisdictions.
