Mohammed is an Associate in Bird & Bird’s London Intellectual Property Group.

In addition to his legal qualifications, Mohammed holds a masters degree in Computer Science from University College London. He qualified as a solicitor in 2009, having trained at a technology and intellectual property focused law firm in the city.

Before joining Bird & Bird in 2012, Mohammed gained a wide variety of intellectual property experience working at a niche media practice and in the in-house legal team of leading microprocessor intellectual property company ARM Limited.

Mohammed has been involved in a wide range of intellectual property matters in relation to copyright, trade mark, patents and know-how. He has represented clients across a number of different industries including sports, IT, media and healthcare. Due to his background, Mohammed has a particular interest in the high technology sector.

His recent litigation experience includes assisting on patent infringement and revocation proceedings in the technology sector and advising on an online copyright infringement action.

Mohammed has contributed to a number of legal publications, including the Journal of the Chartered Institute of Patent Agents (CIPA), World Sports Law Report and Entertainment Law Review.
