Rachida specialises in general Employment law with a special focus on international employment matters.

Rachida is a senior associate in our International Employment Group, based in The Hague.

She advises national and multinational companies and institutions on employment and service contracts, trade union and works council consultations, employment and HR issues in M&A transactions, transfer of undertaking, restructurings and mass redundancies. If an amicable solution is not feasible, Rachida is an experienced litigator, putting the client's legal and financial interests in realistic perspective.

Rachida has contributed to the books "Cross border Transfers and Redundancies" published by Tottel, and the "International Expatriate Employment Handbook" published by KluwerLaw. She was also part of the Dutch team that advised the European Commission on the main legal and technical challenges arising in connection with cross border transfers and redundancies as regulated in Directive 2001/23/EC.

She is a regular lecturer on various employment topics at Kluwer Law, the Radboud University, the Dutch Bar Association and the Academie voor de Rechtspraktijk.

Rachida is a member of various associations for employment law experts including the VAAN, the International Bar Association and the European Employment Lawyers Association. She is also a member of the Human Resources Committee / People Platform of the American Chamber of Commerce.
