Sandra is a partner in our Corporate and Commercial Group of ATMD Bird & Bird based in Singapore. She has considerable experience in various practice areas including corporate, competition law, regulatory and environmental laws, government tenders and commercial projects as well as real estate.

 

Sandra has extensive experience in regulatory work in Singapore and currently acts as the legal advisor to the Energy Market Authority of Singapore and the National Environment Agency. She is also experienced in anti-competitive analysis and legislative strategy and has advised on regulatory, technical and commercial contracts in both the electricity and gas sectors.

She is an experienced transactional lawyer for large scale infrastructure projects and tenders, being experienced in technical contracts, public procurements, energy regulatory work, environmental laws, state land, competition law and labour law in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.

Sandra has acted as lead coordinator for a large number of innovative public projects in Singapore, including the first desalination plant in Singapore, the first sectoral competition appeal in the gas sector, the first tri-generation project in Singapore, and the first liquefied natural gas terminal project for Singapore.

Sandra has spoken widely on corporate governance and competition issues. She is also the co-author of Business Guide to Competition Law, published by Sweet & Maxwell in 2011.
