Ulrich has an excellent reputation in hands-on, practical advice and unparalleled sector knowledge given his 14 year in-house career in the aerospace and medical industries.

Ulrich is located in our Munich office and has been partner in the Corporate Practice Group since 2003.

Ulrich specialises in the technology industry sector with extensive experience in aviation and aerospace, communications, medical systems and media. He focuses on international and cross-border M&A deals, M&A general corporate law, large commercial transactions, as well as insolvency and restructuring.

Most recently Ulrich advised on large transactions for Nokia Siemens Networks and Stefanel.

Ulrich has held various positions over his expansive career, including legal and commercial positions in the medical and aerospace industries; General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Dornier GmbH and Senior Vice President and General Counsel of DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG.

Directly prior to joining Bird & Bird, Ulrich headed corporate/M&A for the Munich office of Andersen Luther (now Luther).
