Benjamine Fiedler was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1989. Since April 2000 she has led the employment department of Bird & Bird and is currently Co-Head of the International Employment Group.
She holds a degree in Business Law from the University of Nanterre, Paris X and has also pursued an MBA course at the University of New York.
Focusing on employment and social security law, she generally assists her clients in both individual and collective employment law matters, in particular in restructuring operations including mass redundancy plans and collective negotiations with Unions representatives. Benjamine has also developed specific expertise in cross-border transactions and in particular complex consultation procedures with European and local works council in relation to restructuring, outsourcing and compensation strategies.
Benjamine appears regularly before civil and employment courts in France.
Author of a number of articles on employment law. Benjamine is also a speaker at numerous conferences on works council issues and management of relationships with Unions representatives.
