Patrick has unique experience of providing innovative solutions within high tech industries
Patrick is a senior associate in our IT, Communications and Aerospace practices, based in Brussels.
His combined expertise covers a broad spectrum of information technology, telecommunications, aviation and aerospace, comprising general contract drafting, regulatory and dispute resolution work. His experience also includes advisory work in the field of information communication technology law, including e-commerce, outsourcing, intellectual property, data protection and compliance for a wide range of clients. He has also assisted clients in deploying their activities in the area of satellite communications and other innovative technological applications.
Patrick graduated from K.U. Leuven in 1998 and holds a Master degree in European Business Law from the Institut d’Etudes Européennes (University of Brussels), where he also specialised in aviation law. In addition, he took a course on English law in 2002 at the London School of Economics. He furthered his specialisation in space law by completing an LLM-module at the International Institute of Air & Space Law at the University of Leiden.
Patrick was admitted to the Brussels bar in 1999. Prior to joining us in 2004, he worked for several years as an associate in the technology, media and telecommunications department of another major international law firm in Brussels.
He speaks and writes fluently in Dutch, French and English. He is also proficient in German, Italian and Spanish. He also has basic grasp of Russian.
