Peter Fisher is a consultant in the Corporate Department at Bird & Bird with over 25 years experience in advising on corporate tax and related matters.  During his career he had advised on mergers and acquisitions (on and off, market, domestic and international), reorganisations and reconstructions, joint ventures and infra structure projects, with a wide experience of property related tax.  He has been involved in a number of privatisation projects, acting for either the public or private sector interests, and has acted in a variety of contentious matters ranging from investigations and settlements to high profile court cases.  For 10 years he was a member of the City of London Law Society Revenue Law Committee.
