Péter is a rising star in the Hungarian Competition team.
Péter is an Associate based in our Budapest office.

He specialises in corporate, sports, competition and general commercial law matters and advises market-leading companies from the sports, food, energy and media sectors. In addition, Péter also provides advice on IP, contentious and public procurement issues.

Before joining us in June 2011, Péter had worked for a Hungarian domestic law firm and for bnt Szabó Tom Burmeister Law Firm. He also gained experience abroad while working for Rödl & Partner in Nürnberg.

Péter is a lecturer on the postgraduate sports law course at the Faculty of Law of University ELTE Budapest and member of the Competition Law Research Centre at University Pázmány Péter in Budapest. He co-wrote the Sports Law II (Budapest 2011) textbook and his articles on sports law are regularly published in prestigious law journals and on prominent websites. Péter is often invited to speak at national an international conferences on sports law and, in collaboration with the T.M.C. Asser Instituut (The Hague), acted as the national expert for Hungary in the preparation of the ‘Study on Sports Organizers’ Rights in the EU’.

Péter graduated from the University of Pécs. In 2008/2009, he participated in the LL.M. programme at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, where he studied German law and sports law. Currently, Péter is working on his doctoral thesis at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg.
Péter is a member of the Budapest Bar.
