Ralph is a member of Bird & Bird’s Intellectual Property Law Practice Group. His work focuses on Patent and Utility Model Law.
Ralph studied law at the Universities of Bayreuth and Münster. He completed an additional degree in business administration for lawyers at the University of Bayreuth and gained a Master of Laws degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Düsseldorf. In 2009, he was awarded his doctor’s degree with a dissertation on the law of Community Trademark Law.
During his legal traineeship Ralph worked for international law firms in Düsseldorf and for the German Patent and Trademark Office in Munich. Following a research stay at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Ralph was admitted to the bar in 2009.
Ralph is a member of the German Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright law (GRUR).
