Janneke has excellent knowledge of competition and public procurement law which she translates to address her client’s specific needs. 

Janneke is a senior associate in our EU & Competition and Public Procurement Groups, based in The Hague.
She specialises in competition law and procurement law and advises a wide variety of clients, both contentious and non-contentious. She has substantial experience in merger control and cartel cases and provides in-house competition law training explaining the do’s and don’ts from a competition law perspective . In addition, she has extensive experience in drafting Codes of Conducts for companies with a focus on competition law. With respect to public procurement law, she advises a wide variety of clients throughout the process from reviewing the tender documents and advising clients on which questions should be asked tof the procuring entities and representing companies in court, if necessary. 

Her practice areas are primarily focused on the postal and telecommunications, consumer products and food and beverages sectors. 

In 2011, she successfully completed the post graduate Grotius public procurement course. Janneke is a member of the Dutch Associations for Competition Law and Public Procurement Law. She is the Secretary of the Young Competition Lawyers section of the Association for Competition Law. Janneke also publishes regularly and is co-editor for the European and Economic chapter of the Dutch journal Juridisch Up To Date.
