José Manuel is an associate in the Public Law and Regulatory group of our Madrid office.

José holds a degree in Law obtained from the University of La Coruña and a Master degree of business law (LLM) from the Instituto de Empresa Business School. After several years preparing “oposiciones al Cuerpo de Letrados de la Comunidad Autónoma de Galicia”, he initiated his career in the Litigation Department of Spanish firm Coello de Portugal Abogados where he has been involved in many trails. He has also experience in Arbitration.

He has published articles related to his area of expertise in both generalist and specialized press.

His focus is on Public Law, including public procurement, sanctioning proceedings and strict liability claims against the Administration with a focus in public contracts.

José speaks Spanish and English.
