We are proud to act as the sole legal sponsor for the 2012 BIG (British Innovative Gateway) Awards, a five year annual awards programme run by Cisco that recognises great ideas behind new technologies.
Aimed at up-and-coming innovators, entrepreneurs and early-stage startup businesses, winners will receive access to 12 months of support including mentoring from Cisco and legal guidance from Bird & Bird as well as other vital business services from our co-sponsors.
Applicants can enter either a technology concept or prototype idea to fit one of five categories: big data, collaboration, future cities, internet of things and mobility. All entries must benefit either the public or private sector, using the network as a platform to deliver economic, social and environmental sustainability.
