Patrick Sinewe is a Senior European Consultant at Bird & Bird, having joined the firm in 2007 to build up the German tax group. Patrick advises in all areas of international and corporate tax law and specialises in restructuring and group tax law as well as in M&A, LBO and private equity related tax issues. Patrick has broad experience in restructuring processes. He is a member of the international tax group.
Patrick was admitted to the Bar in Frankfurt in 2001 and obtained a degree as a tax consultant (Steuerberater) as well as a certified tax law expert (Fachanwalt für Steuerrecht) in 2004. Patrick has broad expertise in respect of domestic and cross-border tax restructuring, financing and joint venture structures, cross-border real estate transactions and IPOs.
Patrick is a regular contributor to legal journals and national daily newspapers as well as co-editor and author of a handbook on the European Stock Corporation (SE).
Patrick is a member of the International Fiscal Association, the Hessian Tax Association as well as the American Chamber of Commerce.
