We are highly regarded as leading global experts in patent intelligence, especially in regard to standardised technologies, and are experienced in providing expert witness testimony in high-value international royalty rate disputes, particularly in arbitration proceedings. We regularly advise clients with respect to licensing negotiations, and we have experience in negotiating directly on behalf of clients in high-value licensing disputes. We also have experience assisting with the designing, launching and managing licensing programmes.

Our bespoke software and databases are uniquely developed in order to assist with the questions that arise in legal disputes and transactions. For example, we are able to provide particularly accurate “as of” valuations at historical dates (e.g. the date on which a comparable licence was signed) and we maintain live databases utilising extensive processing of SDO (standard developing organisation) data.
