As a managing counsel in our Intellectual Property group in Singapore, I draw on my experience as a trade mark lawyer to help brand owners manage, protect and monetise their brands.
I handle a spectrum of contentious and non-contentious trade mark work from creation and clearance, to protection and monetisation.
I am an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, a Commissioner for Oaths, a Notary Public, and a non-practising solicitor of England & Wales. I have practised at one of the largest international law firms as well as large and mid-sized local law firms; served as in-house counsel for one of the world's leading consumer products companies; partnered senior practitioners and academics in the authorship of publications including the inaugural 'Halsbury's Laws of Singapore', 'The Singapore Academy of Law Annual Review', and the seminal international work 'Famous and Well-Known Marks – An International Analysis'; and mentored future generations of lawyers as a facilitator of the trademarks module of the Singapore Bar Examinations (Part B).
I have been named as a 'next generation' lawyer by the Legal 500 and recognised as a 'highly experienced practitioner, especially in respect of trade mark protection work'.
