I am a tech-friendly lawyer based in Paris, providing business oriented advice on technology matters.
I have extensive experience of complex IT projects and structured contractual arrangements in an international environment. I developed specific skills in the negotiation and drafting of commercial and IT contracts (cloud computing, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, outsourcing, Agile Scrum and SAFe) and in the area of copyright applied to IT (software and databases).
I am also interested in regulatory and prudential matters within the FinTech department (licensing or exemption procedures). I also assist clients in the implementation of their project of dematerialization, electronic signature, cybersecurity and personal data protection (GDPR).
Before becoming a lawyer, I successively worked as an international in-house lawyer for a mobile phone operator and as Head of Legal France for a well-known Chinese telecom manufacturer company for over seven years. Thanks to these previous experiences, I acquired in-depth knowledge of operational issues within companies as well as cross-disciplinary legal issues.
I joined Bird & Bird in 2019 after three years of experience in renowned IT and personal data law firms, and am willing to offer pragmatic and operational advice to the firm's clients.
I regularly contribute to publications on IT and personal data matters and also speak at numerous conferences on this subject.
I am also an assigned lawyer in Criminal Defence (pro bono litigation cases).
