About Me

I'm Senior Counsel in our Brussels office with over 30 years' experience handling issues on European competition, regulatory and commercial law, both in private practice and in-house. I have unique experience regarding the regulation of electric connected and autonomous vehicles.

I joined our Brussels office in September 2018 after having spent five years as the European Counsel of Tesla, Inc. where I founded the European legal department. At Tesla, I advised both on day-to-day and on highly strategic legal and regulatory issues and developed a unique expertise in regulatory issues regarding electric connected and autonomous vehicles.

Before joining Tesla, I worked as a competition, regulatory and commercial lawyer at international law firms in Brussels and London.

I have particular expertise handling motor vehicle purchase agreements and warranties, commercial agreements in the supply chain and non-disclosure agreements, distance-selling rules, the contractual and liability issues arising from the rollout of electric vehicle charging points and European alternative fuels infrastructure legislation, emissions credit trading, right-to-repair rules, data protection rules, electromagnetic compatibility and CE marking legislation, energy labelling, subsidies, rules for general product safety and recalls, batteries legislation, end-of-life vehicles legislation, tyre legislation, type-approval legislation, the regulatory framework for autonomous vehicles, REACH, RoHS and WEEE legislation, UNECE Transport Regulations, ISO standards, the application of competition rules to selective distribution agreements, to the supply of tools and spare parts, to parallel trade and to geo-blocking for online sales.

I'm admitted as a Solicitor (England and Wales) and I'm a member of the Brussels Bar.

I have British, French and US nationality and I'm fluent in English and French.
