In my role as Counsel, I advise borrowers and their shareholders, commercial lenders, DFIs, funds and public bodies, as well as industrial companies in their French or international financing transactions.
As a member of the Energy & Infrastructure team, I handle a broad range of financing transactions such as project finance, asset finance and structure finance transactions, particularly in the energy, transport and infrastructure sectors.
My experience covers a wide range of financing and refinancing transactions including by way of loans granted by one or a group of lenders as well as by way of bonds, convertible or not (mezzanine debt or crowdfunding).
I advice clients during the preliminary structuring phase of their financing transactions, during the drafting and negotiation phase of the documentation and during the execution phase. My double degree in law and business school allows me to provide a global approach of the client's issues, by understanding and satisfying the clients' legal expectations whilst meeting their commercial, financial and technical expectations.
Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked in various companies and for almost ten years in an internal law firm specialised in energy and infrastructure financings.
I hold a Master II in financing and accounting law from the Faculté Libre de Droit of Lille and a Management Certificate delivered by the EDHEC Business School.
