The Associate Trainee programme consists of 5-6 intensive months during which you will work as a full-time Trainee.
The purpose of the programme is to give you an overview of Bird & Bird as well as offer you an opportunity to try your ‘birdie’ wings in practising commercial business law. You will work for various practice groups assisting the firm’s lawyers in diverse and challenging assignments. As we think it is important for you to start looking for your future field of specialisation in commercial business law, we also aim to give you an opportunity to work more closely with one or two of our practice groups at the later stage of your traineeship. Your duties will include similar work as our newly graduated lawyers do, for example, drafting legal documentation and collecting information regarding a wide variety of issues. You will be supported by your Trainee colleagues and an assigned personal tutor, who will guide you through your entire traineeship.
