Our IT & Data Protection team in Brussels is part of the EU-funded Horizon 2020 project Leveraging Big Data to Manage Transport Operations (LeMO).
The objective of the three-year project is to analyse big data in the European transport industry and develop a policy and research roadmap with the aim to improve the industry in Europe. As a project member, our team in Brussels brings its expertise in data privacy and big data to provide LeMO with a legal framework and recommendations for future policies.

The webinar will address the progress of the project and concrete case studies on how big data can be used for improving road safety. An outline of the research and policy roadmaps to overcome certain barriers will also be presented.
