Last November, the EDPB issued its final guidelines on the technical scope of Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive which regulates the use of cookies and similar tracking technologies. In the first of our webinars in this series which you can access here, we explored the implications of those guidelines.
We now see the UK’s ICO adopting similar positions in its recent draft guidance covering the scope of PECR.
