Age Assurance in Today's Digital World: Safeguarding Minors in the Cyber Realm
There are many new regulations being established around the world designed to protect children from online harms. Age assurance plays a key part in this. However, age assurance is a relatively new concept, around which there are not yet common definitions, let alone an agreed approach to measuring the accuracy of the verification and estimation methods that seek to deliver it. What does all of this mean for you and your business? How can you operate in a harmonised and coordinated way across different jurisdictions?
Join us for an interactive session that will unpack some of these issues and which will shed light on the current regulatory landscape for safer online experiences for minors in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This event will provide valuable insights into age assurance systems and the overall framework for age assurance in the international standard.
The event will be taking place live at our Singapore office and it will be streamed online. We will be hosting this event together with Age Check Certification Scheme (ACCS) who launched the Age Appropriate Design Certification Scheme, the first UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) approved criteria for The ICO Children’s Code.
