Many reports have suggested that specific sectors – including aviation - were not to be discussed until other major issues such as fishing rights, Northern Ireland and the level playing field were resolved. A “no deal” outcome would leave open the basis for air services between the UK and the EU but the latest reports that the “intensification” of negotiations did include substantive discussions on specific sectors should be welcome news to the aviation industry.
