Open banking and payments innovations: what have we learned and what might the future hold?

• Open banking past, present and future: following the Joint Regulatory Oversight Committee’s (JROC) recent publication of its recommendations for the next phase of UK open banking, what’s worked well so far and where might the future of open banking be heading?
• Innovation in payments and the future UK payments regulation: five years after the implementation of PSD2 and in the wake of the UK Treasury’s review and Call for Evidence on the Payment Service Regulations, what are the lessons learned, the successful innovations we’ve seen and the further innovations we might expect to see?
