Bird & Bird advises aam2cred Debt Investments on investment by Union Investment

Bird & Bird LLP has advised the shareholders of aam2cred Debt Investments GmbH, formerly aamundo Fund Management, on the investment process by Union Investment, which has taken a 10% stake in the private debt manager. The shareholding is to be successively increased in the coming years.
The advice included a shareholders' agreement and the purchase agreement for shares in aam2cred Debt Investments, with which Union Investment intends to expand its range of alternative investments for institutional clients.
Union Investment will launch a product series of mezzanine and whole loan funds for institutional clients and offer them to its investors. aam2cred Debt Investments GmbH, as a specialist in private real estate debt, will primarily be responsible for sourcing and managing the loan portfolio and providing investment advice for the funds.
