International law firm Bird & Bird advised the global energy company, GE Vernova, in acquiring ROB-EX A/S, an IT and engineering company, specialised in software specifically dedicated to production scheduling.

Formed from the merger and subsequent spin-off of General Electric's energy businesses in 2024, GE Vernova's technology base helps generate approximately 25% of the world's electricity and has a meaningful role to play in the energy transition.
With the acquisition of ROB-EX A/S, GE Vernova aims to invest and grow in the critical manufacturing scheduling software space, providing a robust, fully integrated manufacturing software suite that enables enterprise-wide production optimisation from equipment to ERP systems.
