As a partner in our Regulatory & Administrative practice in Brussels, and a member of our International Life Sciences and Food & Beverage sector groups, I provide hands-on advice and assistance to our clients in public, administrative and regulatory law matters.
Here at Bird & Bird, I advise companies from sectors including life sciences, food & beverage and chemicals on the regulatory requirements for highly technological and innovative products.
I advise on regulatory law in the food & beverage field, from general food law and labelling requirements, such as health and nutrition claims, to highly-regulated forms of food products including novel food and nutraceuticals.
Market access, pricing and reimbursement issues and marketing policies, at both the EU and domestic level, are some of the issues on which I advise our life sciences clients. One of my particular areas of interest is on the regulations for the use of biological material for therapeutic applications and scientific research including biobanking. I also assist our clients with issues relating to REACH, CLP and the related safety and environmental requirements applicable to chemical products.
Across these sectors, I assist on borderline product classification and on regulatory path definition and compliance strategies. I also provide day-to-day advice and litigation on Belgian public and administrative law, including town planning and environmental law, public procurement, public service and constitutional law.
I work in French, English and Dutch.
