Aaron Mathew

I am an Associate in the Corporate and Finance & Banking practices in Sydney.

I have experience assisting in complex transactions, with involvement across the due diligence and deal documentation process in the corporate space, and advising both lenders and borrowers in finance and banking.

Since joining Bird & Bird as a clerk in 2021, I have gained experience in our Commercial, Intellectual Property, Finance & Banking and Corporate Groups.

I enjoy learning about each client's unique industry and circumstances when providing advice to assist them in achieving their business objectives.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked as a paralegal in a NSW government department, an intern at a Big Four accounting firm, and an analyst at a commercial property advisory firm. These diverse experiences have equipped me with a pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving.
