Aishwarya Nair

I am a Disputes Resolution associate based in our Dubai office. I advise on dispute management and resolution strategies across sectors and through the full life cycle of a dispute.

I have two years of experience with disputes in the Middle East, having advised local, regional, and international clients on disputes across the construction, hospitality, electronics, sports, and retail sectors. I have advised on institutional arbitrations before the ICC, LCIA, DIFC, and DIAC, as well as ad hoc arbitrations. My experience extends to advising on pre-dispute settlement efforts, onshore and offshore UAE court proceedings, and English court proceedings as well.

I am also passionate about clean energy and sustainable development. I have experience advising at the country-level on matters of international investment law and policy with the specific aim of expediting a just energy transition.

• Advising esports team in relation to sponsor's default;
• Successfully represented the Dubai subsidiary of a global electronics conglomerate in three separate DIFC-LCIA arbitrations arising from product distribution agreements. Acted as second chair during the hearings;
• Advised France on the Energy Charter Treaty modernisation process and strategies for withdrawing from the Treaty.
