I am a trademark and design attorney in the Intellectual Property Group in London. I specialise in European Union and Italian trademark law

I am passionate about all aspects and stages of trademarks' life cycle, from brand creation to portfolio management and enforcement. My focus is on strategic counselling and developing a brand protection architecture of trademarks portfolios both on European Union and worldwide level.

I gained a significant and extensive experience in managing worldwide trademark portfolios, representing high profile national and international clients in different industries, including luxury goods, fashion, wine and food, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications. Over the years, I have advised clients ranging in size from start-ups to small, medium and large-sized companies.

My core expertise includes contentious and non-contentious trademark matters, brand selection and availability searches, trademark filing with EUIPO, UIBM, WIPO and national offices, prosecution, portfolio management, negotiation and drafting of out-of-court settlement and coexistence agreements, enforcement of trademarks rights. In particular I have substantial experience with oppositions procedures before the European Union and the Italian Trademark Office, having handled complex cases involving cross-proceedings between the same entities.

I have been an active member of the ECTA, joining the annual conferences and being part of the anti-counterfeiting committee.
