Alex Agababian

I am a Commercial associate based in Bird & Bird's UAE offices specialising in Intellectual Property matters pertaining in particular to the Gulf region. I have broad commercial and corporate experience acquired during tenures within international law firms and in-house legal departments in both the private and public sectors.

I have extensive transactional experience having worked on M&A and Venture Capital transactions and franchising arrangements within international law firms and more recently in-house, advising pre-eminent cultural institutions in the UAE on the acquisitions and loaning of fine art and natural history, intellectual property licensing, procurement contracts and distribution agreements. I have also advised public sector institutions within the UAE on matters concerning live entertainment events and flagship partnership agreements with renowned international sports and luxury brands.
